CHI maintains a public education outreach project, educating people about the health and educational needs of Afghans and others in the developing nations of the world. We are committed to promoting awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences and to increasing the understanding and valuing of the cultural diversity of the world. CHI hosts educational forums and participates in conferences held by other organizations. CHI staff members have been interviewed on the radio (including National Public Radio and Equal Access Radio), and by television and print media. We give presentations to small, local groups in churches and community organizations, as well as to large groups, national, and international organizations.
